The latest Android L update is unofficially available for the Google Nexus 4 and 7.The tech giant recently announced the next version of the Android OS, also dubbed simply as L. The company is currently rolling out the source codes for the Nexus devices for the developer version of the OS. While Google published Android L source codes for the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10, the developer preview firmware was only available for the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 wi-fi 2013 edition devices. However, XDA developers provided an unofficial version of the Android L developers’ version for the Nexus 4 and Nexus 7. However, since the firmware was not official, many members of the forum said that the firmware is faulty. Moreover, the developer that built it notes, it’s “fairly useless” since many critical features do not work.
